The last hero of the update has been released in Deadlock — the fencer Apollon

After weeks of waiting, Apollon has finally delighted players with his presence. The sixth and final character of the «Старые боги, новая кровь» cycle has been officially added to Deadlock.

According to the available information, Apollon is the heir of a noble house from Northern Ixia, a land of beauty, traditions, and political conflicts. Sent to New York for his own safety, he enrolled in Blackmore Academy, where he became captain of the fencing team. The young aristocrat does not waste time on parties and dances, preferring hours of training on the fencing piste. He patiently awaits the day when his father calls him back so he can prove his right to wield the ancestral sword.

Apollon's ability kit:

• Disengaging Sigil (Liberating Sigil) — Apollon creates a signal sphere in front of him and jumps backward at the moment of detonation. The sphere deals damage and slows affected enemies.

• Flawless Advance (Perfect Advance) — a series of lunges in any direction with thrusting attacks. The longer you hold the button, the higher the damage. Releasing it at the perfect moment deals maximum damage.

• Riposte (Riposte) — Apollon prepares to parry the next attack. If successful, he becomes briefly invulnerable, then dashes forward, stunning the enemy and reducing their bullet resistance.

• Itani Lo Sahn (Itani Lo Sahn) — ultimate ability. Apollon charges a long-range slashing strike that applies a curse and slow to enemies. When the effect expires, they take devastating damage, and low-health targets take additional damage. For the duration, Apollon is invulnerable and incoming enemy damage is reduced.

Results of the favorite-hero vote

Along with the release of the update, the developers have summarized the voting statistics from players:

• In total, participants cast 60 776 963 votes.

• 600 people managed to predict the winner of every round by voting only for that hero.

• With the largest lead over the nearest competitor (Celesta), Venator won — the difference was 11%.

• The record for the number of votes from a single player is 813, and all of them were cast for Celesta.

Apollon's release completes the «Старые боги, новая кровь» update. The developers thank the community for the warm reception of the new heroes, the intense firefights in «Уличных стычках», and the active participation in the voting.
